About
I am a full-stack product engineer with 5+ years shipping complete products, most recently for a UK remote team. I owned the front end of SuperViral (tens of thousands of monthly users), a significant source of company revenue. I was the lead developer on Foodie, which I built from scratch — Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, and AWS ECS — working with a freelance data scientist and a freelance Python developer.
I am based in Lahore, Pakistan, and available full-time for remote senior product engineering roles in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL. Frontend: React, Next.js, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui. Backend: Node.js, Fastify, REST, Webhooks. Data: PostgreSQL, Supabase, MySQL, Prisma. Cloud: Docker, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, EventBridge, Terraform, CI/CD, Vercel. Product: Amplitude, A/B test variants, LLM-assisted workflows.

Experience
Etra Ventures (opens in a new tab)
I owned the front end of SuperViral, led Foodie from the first commit, and built the front end of Almo.
- Owned the front end of SuperViral, a high-traffic social-commerce product with tens of thousands of monthly users and a significant source of company revenue.
- Built front-end split-test variants for the SuperViral checkout pages.
- Led Foodie as lead developer, owning the product end to end; built it from the ground up with Next.js 16, TypeScript, Supabase (auth, row-level security, migrations), and Amplitude instrumentation.
- Engineered Foodie's backend worker: a Fastify service on AWS ECS, provisioned with Terraform, handling four workloads: video extraction, embeddings, quality checks, and Places sync.
- Integrated deliverables from two freelance specialists into Foodie: the feed's recommendation algorithm from a data scientist, and a Python video pipeline for logo and text removal and embeddings from a Python developer.
- Built the complete front end of Almo, a 4-7-8 breathing and journaling web app, in React, TypeScript, and Vite against an existing backend API: breathing animation and audio kept in sync, an interactive first-run tutorial, thoughts saved on the device and synced to the account on sign-in, auth flows, and an internal analytics dashboard.
Agnovate Consulting (Pvt) Ltd (opens in a new tab)
Six-month contract with a consultancy for agro-processors.
- Delivered a MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) MVP for a sugar-mill agriculture team over a six-month contract.
- Replaced the team's spreadsheet-based field monitoring with a single operational web app, consolidating field data in one system.
Khaleef Technologies (opens in a new tab)
Product engineering for Cricwick and a telecom lead-generation page.
- Designed and shipped a headless CMS in Next.js on MySQL for Cricwick content operations; still in production more than three years later.
- Rebuilt cricwick.net, originally a React site, in Angular 14, and contributed bug fixes, API integrations, and new features on the React codebase.
- Created a lead-generation landing page for a Du Telecom CRM at dubusinessplan.com.
ArhamSoft (Pvt) Ltd (opens in a new tab)
First professional role, shipping and maintaining MERN products.
- Implemented MERN marketplace features for livestock trading and an NFT music store across multiple production codebases.
- Developed Music Lab features across the interface, backend, and blockchain integration with the team, through development, testing, and deployment.
